Ethiopia - Banko Taratu

Hello all!

We are back with our last coffee of 2025! (officially, something fun is cooking... keep your eyes out! )

To wrap up our busy 2025, we'd like to share one of our favorite coffee of the year, Banko Taratu from Ethiopia.

This coffee has slightly different flavor profile than typical washed Ethiopians that we are familiar with. To us, typical washed Ethiopia's cup characteristic is white and green, so think of peach, honeydew, bergamot and lavender like notes. With Banko Tararu, it has more of orange and yellow flavor profile; like yuzu, chamomile, tangerine.

Little more about this coffee

We highly recommend resting it for at least two weeks.
